Jax and Opie were the first two goats ‘of anarchy”. For the last few years, they have been living with a small herd of 16 of the original goats - the “OG herd”. This small herd is very special, and Lyla’s recent passing jolted me, forcing me to admit that my babies are in their elder years. There are only two days left of 2025, and what a year it was! It was challenging, but we made it through! We have around 275 four-legged animal friends in our care and around 25% of them have disabilities. It’s hard to even put into words how how much work it takes to properly care for that number of large animals. We have a huge team of caregivers and volunteers working hard every day to make sure each one of them is cared for, and most importantly, we have YOU!!! None of it would be possible w
